New user web interface

In an effort to bring more functionnality and a more pleasant and easy to use interface for registering, password and account information management, we are developping a new web interface to replace the one existing at http://account.newworldgrid.com which is hard to customize and adapt to our needs.

You will then be able to change your avatar profile information, your password, and some other features we’ll reveal soon.

Eden Cat or the moment of a dream

Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of Franklin, said to us a day: ” the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams “. The dream is beautiful because it represents the hope, because it gives us the strength to live, because it is a religion which the atheists can enjoy without being faithless their inmost convictions. Eden Cat is a part of these people who feed on fancies, those who build the reality with the unreal, because the realization of a nait project of a dream likened to the dream.

By coming on OpenSim, Eden Cat came to establish what she was never able to develop on the Second Life: the illustration of its dreams. Her experience on SL did not satisfy her  because of two points: the first one concerns the purely financial sector. This virtual world being a “product”, it is necessarily necessary “to pay” to use it. Itsn’t the principle of our day personality who thinks that the dream must be accessible to all.

Eden Cat has ” ideas on stars “. These sims both ” Eden Cat 1 and 2 ” are the representation of a dreamlike imagination which illustrates all that its principles dictate her. The tolerance, the sharing, the mutual aid some are the ideals for which this woman tries to cultivate and to give. The war is not to win, but it does not stop fighting.

For a beginner in the build, it is really not bad. Every plot of land of these sims inhale the freshness and the tranquillity. Colors are tepid as one pleases and the architecture is remarkable by its complexity. Rooms are spacious but never we feel the slightest effect of space if it is not the one which release us from our negative waves accumulated during the day. Eden Cat or the portrait of a dreamer who of the continuation in the ideas. Below the retranscription of the interview.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Eden, that is what what motivated you to come on New World Grid and not another Opensim?
Eden Cat: first of all, I was very well welcomed there. We helped me to have my sim for nothing (editor’s note: via the system OSME) and without requiring from counterpart. People like that, we do not find in all the corners of street there, and that it is wonderful.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Speak to me about your experience on the Second Life …
Eden Cat: I go on the Second Life fewer and fewer because it is far too much expensive. Sims is extremely expensive and it is impossible to me to have mine. Besides being too expensive, it is also very restricted. Because of his expensive life, the possibilities are limited and we eventually annoy. And that it is not normal! Finally I go there rather rarely because I do not find my happiness over there.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: yes but Linden Lab (owner of the Second Life) is a company, its objectives are to be profitable and to make of profits …
Eden Cat: yes but it is exaggerated! The money at all costs it is not for me. And it is in what OpenSim is brilliant. We find the true artists, the true passionate persons there because they do not require payment. The business kills the art to my opinion.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Set apart the prices, that what is what disappoints you in the Second Life?
Eden Cat: The fact that people have blinkers. Most do not even believe that we can benefit from it own sim free of charge on another platform. The mentalities degrade proportionally in the size of their bank account.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Yes but the Second Life one crowned all the same length beforehand in term of contents with regard to OpenSims. you do not think that it is a heavy handicap for these last ones?
Eden Cat: The base of the virtual worlds is to my opinion to dream, not to make at all costs of the business. The second Life was hijacked from his first utility: create a world which would be magnificent, or in any case better than ours.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: what perfect kind did you want “to realize” with Eden Cat Island?
Eden Cat: a world where everybody has his place whatever it is. Be together, be happy and love itself some the others. Let to each the leisure give what it has of better.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Can you speak to myself about the building where we are, which were your inspirations?
Eden Cat: That to give objects and beauty, to feel well when we come home. I want to create again and again to give. Because I have already received a lot (smile).

LeoMaxx Sautereau: Kept silent spoke to me quite to build a submarine base under the place where we are, it is a curious idea of builder a building with a little bit lugubrious theme under this environment not?
Eden Cat: No because we have examples of big beauty in the sea. The ocean has something really magic, even when it is lived by a submarine base.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: forward the first one, can you speak to us about the shape that is going to set this building?
Eden Cat: It will be built on a round and glass base, with heights of fishes outside as well as tunnels. We shall also find there a submarine museum and one limps at night.

LeoMaxx Sautereau: this interview touches its end. Eden, would like you to add something?
Eden Cat: yes a thought. I think that in the future there will be no more so much wealth as now because the planet sulphurates. She empties. The virtual worlds can be an alternative to preserve the memorysouvenir of all which we lost. People don’t realize yet of the tools which are with their range. And OpenSim is an accessible means to transform its dreams into a pseudo-reality.
