Land rentals

Why rent land ?

You can have many good reasons to rent land.

Renting land on New World Grid, non-profit organisation, allows you to avoid managing maintenance, updates, and other issues related to dedicated servers. But beyond the material aspect, renting land means contributing actively to the virtual worlds’s activity and community. Indeed, the totality of rented land maintenance fees will be used to pay, in first place, the server which your land is hosted on, but also for the centrals servers and services fees (including assets hosting : textures, builds…), and when possible, cultural and educational projects we support.

Renting land is one of the best ways to contribute actively, as for volunteering, to the maintain of New World Grid.

You become thus a Contributor of the virtual world and the “Contributor” title appears on your inworld profile, recognizing your contribution to the eyes of the community.

How to rent land ?

Reting land is very simple, you just need a PayPal account. It is done through a PayPal subscription, corresponding to a monthly automated payment which amount depends on the offer. It is of course possible to cancel your subscription at any moment, but without any refund possible, servers hosting your land being paid in advance to our service provider. Your land remains available until the end of your last payment term.

You must also accept the virtual world’s rules, all virtual spaces being rated Parental Guidance (or PG).

Full region

A full region corresponds to 65536 m² of virtual land.

Price : 30 € / month + 20 € setup
Primitives : 15000
VoIP included (vocal conference)
Dedicated simulator : the region is hosted on an independant “simulator” in order to optimize performances and minimize crashes impact.

Script usage and user traffic reasonnable.
The region will be installed in the following 24 to 72 hours after your payment.
