New shiny website ! Nouveau site web !
Hello dear Residents and readers !
Welcome to your new website !
We are back from our vacation and ready to make the grid rock for you. As promised, here are our goals for the next coming weeks :
- Most of the work will be on OpenSim Made Easy : putting its source code on the OpenSim Forge. I will clean up the code progressively.
- OpenSim Made Easy was not made originally to publish regions without any intervention from the user. The user still has to provide region coordinates. It is planned OpenSim Made Easy to be used as an interface to configure it more easily with all the parameters from the OpenSim.ini etc… There is also an external API in PHP to get data from a given grid database (MySQL).
- We started to develop a webinterface for region owners (delivered with a New World Grid hosting solution) so they can manage their regions from their browser without asking the Admins or the Grid Ops.
This seems a huge amount of work. But thanks to Crackou Newman, Calice Newman, Bill Gates, Veronika Garzo, et all other volunteers and residents helping daily, we will get the work well done !

Nous sommes de retour de nos vacances et prêts à faire bouger la grid pour vous. Comme promis, voici nos objectifs pour les semaines suivantes :
- La plus grande partie du travail se portera sur OpenSim Made Easy : mettre la source du code sur OpenSim Forge. je nettoierai le code progressivement.
- OpenSim Made Easy n’a pas été créé à l’origine pour publier des régions sans intervention de la part de l’utilisateur qui doit toujours préciser les coordonnées des régions. Il est prévu qu’OpenSim Made Easy soit utilisé comme une interface pour le configurer plus facilement avec tous les paramètres du fichier OpenSim.ini etc… Il existe également une API externe en PHP pour récupérer les données depuis la base de données de la grid (MySQL).
- Nous avons commencé à développer une interface web pour les propriétaires de région (livrée avec une solution d’hébergement New World Grid) afin qu’ils puissent gérer leur régions depuis leur navigateur sans demander aux Admins et aux Opérateurs (Grid Ops).
Cela semble être une énorme quantité de travail. Mais grâce à Crackou Newman, Calice Newman, Bill Gates, Veronika Garzo, et tous les autres volontaires et résidents présents au quotidien nous mèneront notre tâche à bien.

OpenSim Made Easy documentation and tutorials soon
Hello !
I have 1 vacation week left which means I will be on New World Grid management quite full time in 7 days.
I have some surprises for you dear residents and readers.
First, when I am back I will write some documentation and video tutorials for OpenSim Made Easy, I will improve it too with a “One Click” mode and will put source available when I have cleaned the code which is crapp currently.
The website will be improved too !
